The members of the network Sikhs-in-Europe will arrange academic network activities (meetings, workshops, conferences, publications, etc.) to propose research studies and present and discuss the results of projects undertaken by the participants. 2010 September: Members of the NORDCORP project "Sikh Identity Formation: Generational Transfer of Traditions in the Nordic Countries" organize the second project meeting at University of Bergen, September 2 to 4. Invited guests are Prof. Kim Knott from University of Leeds and Prof. Eleanor Nesbitt from University of Warwick. 2009 August: Members of the NORDCORP project "Sikh Identity Formation: Generational Transfer of Traditions in the Nordic Countries" organized the first project meeting at Lund University, August 9 to 11. Invited guests were Prof. Eleanor Nesbitt from University of Warwick and Dr. Jonas Otterbeck from Lund University. 2008 September: Meeting with Nordic scholars for the preparation of a research proposal about Sikhs in the Nordic countries, Lund University, September 11 to 13. October: Meeting with Italian scholars for the creation of an Italian Research Group in Sikh Studies, Padova University, October 17. December: Meeting with scholars studying the Sikhs in Southern Europe for discussions about future research collaborations, Lund University, December 12 to 14.
